36 months have passed...

36 months or so since I posted on this blog. If you would have told me then that Agent Orange would be the leader of the free world, I would have asked you for some of whatever you were on! But alas, the deed has been done and we will roast and lambast the orange asshole for, at least months to come!

Back at it!

It's time to dust the blog off and share my sometimes scattered thoughts to the world. I have a total of 5 classes again this semester so I will be busy.

Notice to College Students

There are many ways to save on college expenses. One way that I have been able to save quite a few bucks is by renting textbooks from Chegg.com. I am not an affiliate but they are great. Customer service is fantastic, and the savings is significant!

Notice to Veterans

A company by the name of Veteran Recruiting Services (http://veteranrecruiting.com) offers virtual career fairs to veterans. I attended one and found it to be a waste of my time. I also have been bombarded by spam ever since I signed-up, so beware!

 

The Veterans Retraining Assistance Program (VRAP)still has some openings, so if you're an unemployed vet between age 39-60, this program may be for you. The program was to be limited to aprox. 95,000, but many who have received certificates of eligibility (COE) have failed to enroll in training. As of 5/20/2013, more than 100,000 applications have been approved.
